Career Development

Motto: ''If you care about your future, your future will take care of you!"

What is it?

Career development is a particular concern of most employees and organizations. Having well-trained employees is an essential prerequisite to ensure business success and profitability.

”Career Plan" represents the steps to follow for achieving the performance level that the company aims for its employees but also the steps to follow buy each  employee who wishes to develop professionally and achieve career success.

What is the purpose?

By career development is intended to offer the employee interested in this approach the opportunity:
- To assess the skills and competences related to one’s current position in the organization and how they can be improved;
- To identify the skills and competencies to be acquired and developed for the future positions;
- To identify one’s potential;
- To identify one’s managerial and leadership skills;
- To develop and improve new behaviors and attitudes;
- To acquire new professional knowledge and improving the existing ones.

Who should attend?

-  Those who wish to define or redefine the steps in their professional career;
- Organizations willing to motivate current employees and propose designing and implementing a ”Career Plan " and even a” Talent Management Program";
- Those who are undergoing a professional impasse and want to overcome it successfully to be able to continue their career and ensure professional and personal development;
- The students who are in the final year at College / Master and want to know more about their skills and competences they have for different types of jobs and industries.

What are the benefits?

- Better self understanding;
- Provides the students a clearer perspective on their career since college;
- More realistic definition of the employees's expectations they towards developing the current job’s or a new job within the same organization or in another organization;
- Design a training and personal development program suited for each person’s needs.

How do I work?

I offer to my clients 3  types of programs:
1. Career development programs which include career plans and personal development programs for key employees of the company (managers, professionals, employees with outstanding potential);
2. Career development programs which include career plans and programs for teams of managers and /or specialists;
3. Career development plans and/or personal development for students and employees in executive positions.

The relevant experience in human resources and top management positions allows me to address a wide range of types of jobs existing in companies, in very different industries with a degree of complexity above average or very high, such as: IT & communications, financial and legal consulting, pharmaceutical, retail, banking, insurance and brokerage, systems and installations for buildings, construction, logistics, energy, manufacturing, maintenance, etc.

I help people assessing their key skills and competencies and design together ways of highlighting them through the ”Career Plan”. This approach (including managerial and leadership skills) is done within ”Assessment and Development of Skills and Competencies Centers”.

Besides the ”Assessment and Development of Skills and Competencies Centers” I use many other tools, techniques and methods specific to the human resource management field as well as personal development area.
I always identify with the client the current status, what he wants to achieve and what it is necessary to be done and, especially, how to get what he has proposed.
We develop together a short, medium and long term „Career Plan'' that would allow a person to reach the performance level required by the company he/she works for or by the personal standards.

Most of the times, the ”Career Plan" is accompanied by a ”Holistic Personal Development Programme" helping the client (manager, employee, expert etc.):
- Identify the limitative beliefs that do not allow professional and personal growth;
- Communicate and relate better with other people;
- Assume the responsibility for their own professional and personal development;
- Better understand the relationship between professional,   hierarchical and interpersonal relationships.

The career development approach is also holistic, just like the personal development, where the person is seen as a whole with all the roles and relationships implied by these roles, both professionally and personally, the only difference being the focus on the professional relationship.
